Reason Why Your iPhone Alarm Not Working

The alarm is an inbuilt feature of iOS devices. It helps you wake up in the morning and get ready for your day. However, sometimes it can go wrong and not work properly. This may be due to a number of reasons such as:

1) The battery might have died out.

The battery might have died out and there are chances that the alarm will not turn on. To fix this problem, you need to charge the device with a fully charged battery.

2) There could be some issue with the settings.

There could be some issues with the settings. You can try resetting the settings by going into the Settings app from the home screen.

3) The alarm has been muted.

If the alarm has been muted, then you cannot hear it. In order to fix this problem, you should follow these steps:

Open the Control Center from the Home Screen. Tap Sounds & Haptics. Now toggle Mute switch off. If still, the problem persists, then you can call Apple Support Number + 1-800-275-2273.

4) The alarm has been turned off.

You can also check if the alarm has been turned off manually. Open the Clock app. Now tap on the Alarms tab. Here you can see all the alarms set up. If the alarm has been turned on, then you can turn it off by tapping on the red circle next to the alarm name.

5) The alarm has been disabled.

This happens when someone else has disabled the alarm. You can enable it again by following these steps:

Open Settings app. Now select the option “Voice Over”. Now press the OK button.

6) The alarm has been deleted.

To delete the alarm, open the Calendar app. Then tap on the alarm name. A pop-up menu will appear. Select Delete Alarm.

7) The alarm time has been changed.

In case the alarm time has been changed, then you can change it back to its original setting. Go to the Calendar app. Tap on the date at which the alarm was set. Now tap on the red circle next the alarm name. From here you can choose the new time.

8) The alarm has been moved to another calendar.

If the alarm is set for a different calendar than the one where you want to view it, then you can move it to the desired calendar. Open the Calendar app. Tap the date at which the alert was set. Now tap the arrow icon on the right side of the calendar. From here you can select the calendar to which you want to move the alarm.

9) The alarm sound volume has been changed.

To adjust the volume of the alarm sound, first open the Control Center. Now tap on Sound. Next, tap on the Volume slider. You can now increase or decrease the volume of the alarm.

10) The alarm has been silenced.

Silencing the alarm means that no sound will play when the alarm goes off. You can silence the alarm by opening the Control Center. Now touch the Silence switch.

11) The alarm has been set for a specific time.

You can set the alarm for a specific time by opening the Clock app. First, open the Calendar app and tap on the date at which you want to set the alarm. Now tap on the Red Circle next to the alarm name and select Set Alarm. From here you can set the alarm for any time.

12) The alarm sound has been muted.

Muting the alarm sound means that no sound will be played when the alarm goes off in the future. You can mute the alarm sound by opening the Control Center from the home screen. Now tap on the Sound switch. Now tap on the Mute switch.

13) The alarm has been enabled.

You can disable the alarm by opening the Clock app and selecting Disable Alarm.

14) The alarm has been removed.

The alarm has been removed because the user has uninstalled the application. To remove the alarm, go to the App Store and uninstall the application.

15) The alarm has been reset.

The alarm has not gone off yet. It has been reset because the user has pressed the Reset button. To reset the alarm, open the Clock app. Now press and hold the Alarm button until the Reset All button appears. Press this button to reset the alarm.

16) The alarm has been delayed.

To delay the alarm, open the Control Center from the homescreen. Now tap on the Time switch. Now drag the slider to the left to delay the alarm. When you are done with the settings, tap on the Done button.

17) The alarm has been canceled.

The alarm has already gone off. To cancel the alarm, open the control center. Now tap on the Cancel button.

18) The alarm has been snoozed.

Snoozing an alarm means that the alarm will go off after some specified amount of time. To do so, open the Control Center. Tap on Snooze. Now drag the slider up to specify how long you want the alarm to go off. If you want to stop the alarm, simply tap on the Stop button.

19) The alarm has been turned off.

This option is available only if the alarm is set for an event. To turn off the alarm, open the Calendar app. Then tap on the date at the time of the event. Now tap on the Event name. Finally, tap on the red circle to the right of the alarm name. From there you can choose whether to turn off the alarm or keep it on.

20) The alarm has been disabled.

Disabling the alarm means that the alarm cannot be used anymore. To disable the alarm, open the Settings app. Now tap on General. In the section titled Sounds & Haptics, scroll down to find the entry named Do Not Disturb. Here you can toggle the On/Off status of the alarm.

21) The alarm has been deleted.

Deleting the alarm means that the user has removed the alarm completely. To delete the alarm, open the App Store. Search for the application that contains the alarm. Once found, click on Uninstall. This will prompt you to confirm the deletion. Click OK to proceed.

22) The alarm has been moved.

If the alarm has been moved to another day, then the alarm will go off at the new time. To move the alarm to a different date, open the Control Center and tap on the Date switch. Now drag the calendar to the desired date.

23) The alarm has been changed.

Changing the alarm means that the current alarm will be replaced by a new one. Open the Clock app and tap on the Alarms tab. Next, tap on Edit. Now tap on the plus sign to add a new alarm. Choose the type of alarm and enter the details of the alarm.

24) The alarm has been edited.

Editing the alarm means that the existing alarm will be replaced by the new one. To edit the alarm, open the Alarms tab. Tap on the Edit icon next to the alarm name. Enter the details of the new alarm.
