  • Then go to its directory and right-click over the .msix file, then Open with->WinRAR archiver.

  • Further, go to the Github repository site, click on the Code button, and click on the Download ZIP option from the sub-menu.
  • Once downloaded, go to the Download directory, and from the list of files, select and double-click on the WSAGAScript-main.zip file.
  • Here, copy all the folders and files in the ZIP file and move to C: drive and create a new folder, rename it as GAppsWSA and paste all the copied files. 
  • Then go to the Windows Subsystem for Android directory (you activated early in the C: Drive), then select vendor.img, system.img, system_ext.img, and product.img files and copy them on your system.
  • Go back to the C: Drive, launch the GAppsWSA folder and open the #IMAGES folder and paste the above copied (.img files) in this folder.
  • Now go to the folder containing the Gapps zip file, copy the file and paste it on the #GAPPS folder inside the GAppsWSA folder in C: drive.
  • Again open the GAppsWSA folder, and in the above address bar, type ‘bash’ and press Enter to launch the WSL window set to the present folder.
  • Inside the WSL Command Prompt window, type the following command and press Enter,

apt install zip unzip

  • To install the dos2unix converter tool, type the following command and press Enter,

apt install dos2unix

  • If you see the “Unable to locate package dos2unix” error prompt, then type the following commands one after another to fix the issue,

apt-get update

apt-get install dos2unix

  • Then to convert some files, type the following commands and press Enter after each command,

dos2unix ./apply.sh

dos2unix ./extend_and_mount_images.sh

dos2unix ./extract_gapps_pico.sh

dos2unix ./unmount_images.sh

dos2unix ./VARIABLES.sh

  • Once the files converted then type the following command to install Google Apps package on the system.

./extract_gapps_pico.sh

  • Again type the following command to mount the images,

./extend_and_mount_images.sh

  • Then type the following command also,

./apply.sh

  • To unmount all images, type the following command,

./unmount_images.sh

  • Now go to the GAppsWSA folder (in C: drive)->#IMAGES, then copy all the files in the same folder.
  • And then, open Windows Subsystem for Android folder (you’re early created in C: drive) and paste the recently copied files from the #IMAGE folder.
  • A prompt will appear before you, there select Replace the files in the destination option.
  • Move to GAppsWSA folder->Misc folder, copy the kernel file from there.
  • Now again, open Windows Subsystem for Android folder->Tools, then paste the kernel file in Tools folder. And rename it as kernel-back.
  • Now go back to the Start menu and click on the All apps option.
  • Then locate and right-click over Windows Terminal and select Run as administrator option.
  • If UAC (User Account Control) prompt appears on the screen, click on Yes.
  • Next, Windows Terminal window->Windows PowerShell tab and type the following command,

Add-AppxPackage -Register C:\WindowsSubsystemforAndroid\AppxManifest.xml 

  • Now the package will install on your system and let the process complete on its own.
  • Further, go to the Start menu and under the Recommended section, click on Windows Subsystem for Android option.
  • In the newly opened window, toggle On beside the option Developer mode.
  • Then click on the Files option to open Android OS and Play Store.
  • The Optional diagnostic data for Windows Subsystem for Android prompt will appear on the screen; there, untick the checkbox beside Share my diagnostic data and click on the Continue tab.
  • To get Play Store, move to the Start menu; in the search box, type play store and click on Play Store from the search result.
  • Now, sign in using the Google account credentials, and now you can download and install android apps from the Play Store to Windows 11 PC.
